About Anca Ramsden
Anca Ramsden is a Clinical Psychologist (MA Clin Psych, 1981) and a trained high school teacher. She has over 25 years’ experience in clinical practice and has worked with adults and children with emotional, behavioural, social, learning and career performance issues. She has worked in child and family clinics, school clinics, psychiatric inpatient and outpatient clinics and in private practice. She has extensive experience in treating trauma.
Anca’s special interest is in treating ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties and neuro deficit disorders. For these groups she has developed a successful personal development program called Affect Regulation Therapy which is suitable for adults and children. It is also very effective as a brief- and long-term therapy for stress, depression and anxiety and is suited as an aid in most mental health conditions.
Currently Anca is in private practice in Sydney, Australia and trains psychologists and mental health professionals in Affect Regulation Therapy.
